| Daniela studied Ballet at the Colon Theater of Buenos Aires. After a rigorous training at the institute, she continued her journey through the study of Graham technique, Dance Theater, Martial Arts, Butoh, Yoga, Contact-Impro and Tango in Argentina, Italy, USA, India and Thailand. In 1994 she premiered her first choreographic piece with “Sonora Dance Theater” at the 1st Biennale in Bariloche, Argentina. She toured with Collini Sartor’s Butoh Company in 1995-1996, and later assisted choreographer Mabel Dai Chi Chang. While living in New York, she performed with Pt. Satya Narayana Charka’s Company, a traditional Indian dance drama “Shakuntala”, at the India House of Worship, in Washington.
Daniela presented solo works at the San Martin Theater during the International Contact Improvisation Festival in Buenos Aires, 2000. Later, invited by the Rudy Perez Performance Ensemble, she danced in “Double Play” at the Pasadena City College in 2004 and at the RedCat Theatre in 2005. The same year the group premiered “I like a view” (on G. Stein texts) with Rudy Perez, Stefan Fabry and actors at the Latino Festival at Highways. For the 2006 Festival of Solos & Duets, Daniela choreographed and danced in “Manchai Puitu” (about a Peruvian legend), set to the original piece created by acclaimed Argentinean composer Alejandro Iglesias Rossi, at the Fountain Theater in Hollywood.
